Beanstalk Books
Rainbow Phonics is Beanstalk Books' full phonics program for Pre-K through 2nd grade. Teacher Planners sit at the centre of every kit, mapping daily and weekly lessons across the year, with decodable readers introduced immediately after each letter sound is taught so children apply new letter knowledge to real reading.
The progression runs from early letter-sound correspondences through vowel digraphs, adjacent consonants and multisyllable words. Handwriting formation and Common Exception Words (heart words) run on a parallel progression, so children learn to analyse new words phonemically and identify the irregular parts as they occur.
Kits combine 12-book decodable reader sets across fiction, non-fiction, science and Hi-Lo titles with Decodable Big Books for whole-class reading, plus manipulatives and supplementary resources tied to the lessons. Kits are sold at single, classroom and whole-school scale.
